Day 9 - Charleston, SC

 Day 9 - Charleston, SC

I'm sure you are expecting a beautiful photo essay of Charleston. One with carriage rides, old architecture, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, gardens, historic homes, Broad Street, King Street and Rainbow Row to name a few. Well, to see and do all those things YOU need to go to Charleston. We drove by many of those and ooh'd and aah'd but didn't take pictures, except for the bridge as we went over it. But, you will see a couple photos with us in them and some of the boat, as requested.

The bridge is impressive!

The BIG white boat Kisses

Kisses left and came back 15 minutes later, they recalibrated the compass. They used more fuel in 15 minutes than we use in a full day.

This is what it looks like when the tide is out.

Don't fall off the dock.

Part of our Charleston time was spent doing errands like buying groceries, picking up parts, lugging it all to the boat and storing everything.

This fender on Kisses was huge! Then off to return our friends' car and enjoy a pasta dinner and many stories and laughs with them. Thanks again to Geoff and Deb for their hospitality.

Interior of Snow Goose
Lots of windows, always light and bright and easy to see around us.
