Day 48- Ess-Kay Yards, Brewerton, NY

  DAY 48  June 3

Oneida Lake was PERFECTLY calm this morning.

I decided to have the yard do the oil change.  I'm so benevolent. This is the moment when you question your decisions.

I went for a kayak ride. This was one of the few that went by. Still flat calm.

I included the tip of my paddle to prove I was there, kayaking.

A jet ski went by slowly and left a small wake. To the far left you can see his buddy. He must have been trying to catch up. He didn't slow down.

A Great Blue Heron stalking it's favorite prey, the non-peeking duck.
Walk like a duck and they will never see you.

Majestic bird. I watched one by the shore grab a fish, but, I couldn't get a photo.

What could possibly go wrong?

Peaceful reflections.

Sh...Sh...Sh...Shark!!

Wait, maybe it isn't a shark??1

I wonder if he thought I was going to feed him??

Finished the day having dinner with new looper friends and a pretty sunset. Hopefully we will have these calm days when we want to cross Lake Ontario.
