Day 127- Aug 21 Northport Harbor Marina, Northport, MI

As you can see, Northport is, well, North.  I think real estate prices increase with the distance up the Leelanau Peninsula.  Nice marina, though.

Perennial Hibiscus, stunning!

What we thought was some sort of attraction turned out to be a private residence that included the old train station depot, the caboose and a menagerie of critters.

The previous 11 pictures were all of The Depot home.

Colorful mural along the marina wall.

Northport has a lovely small 'downtown' area with restaurants, eclectic shops, a small museum  and, of primary importance to the cruising sailor, a grocery store and an ice cream shop.
Of course Paul had to buy a t-shirt in the museum.
Where else will you find a shirt with WAUKAZOOVILLE on it??
